Global Entrepreneurship Week

The annual Global Entrepreneurship Week is a worldwide movement of entrepreneurial people, with millions unleashing their enterprising talents and turning their ideas into reality.

In 2008, there were 24,966 events and activities run in 77 countries, attended by more than 3.6 million people (644,000 of which were in the UK). Enterprise Week has been running in the UK since 2004 and recently became part of a wider global movement - Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW).

In celebration of GEW, The King's Academy arranges a number of enterprise activities that take place throughout the week. These include:

  • ESF Business Game
  • Make Your Mark Challenge
  • Women's Enterprise Day
  • BNI breakfast meetings
  • Charities challenge
